The Cameroon Savannah is located in the northern half of the country bordering CAR, Chad, and Nigeria.

This is spectacular beautiful country with an annual rainfall of 40 plus inches in the summer. The Savannah is located north of the equator hence Winter is the months of December-February. This is the time when the Lord Derby / Giant Eland have the black ruff hair around their neck, and the black tuff of hair on their faces.
The Savannah consists of a Woodland Savannah with lots of trees and grass plains, mountains, rivers, creeks, and hilly country. It is not open flat grass plains.
