Kobus vardonii senganus,the Puku,also named the Vardon’s Kob was named by Michael Rogers Oldfield Thomas in 1896.
Under the Genus “Kobus vardonii” there are 2 sub-species!
1. Common Puku or Vardon’s Kob (Kobus vardonii vardonii)
2. Senga Puku (Kobus vardonii senganus)
