Sylvicapra grimmia campbelliae,The Western Bush Duiker was named by John Edward Gray in 1843.

It is also known as the Campbell’s Duiker or the Blacked Faced Philantomba.
It takes its names from Major Henry Dundas Campbell,a Govenor,of Sierra Leone who submitted the first specimen.
