You get 2 different species of Bushbuck,the “Tragelaphus scriptus” and the”Tragelaphus sylvaticus”.
Tragelaphus scriptus sylvaticus,the Cape Bushback was named by Anders Sparrman in 1780.

Generally speaking the further South you go the darker the Bushbuck become,except for the
Menelik’s Bushbuck (Tragelaphus scriptus meneliki) that is the darkest of all,followed by the Cape Bushbuck.
